Take part in Earth Hour: Join the biggest hour for earth

Mar 1, 2026

#SwitchOff at 8.30pm on Saturday 28 March.

Earth Hour is on Saturday 28 March and by powering down for just 60 minutes, you’ll be helping to shape our planet’s future.

Take time out for nature and join the world’s biggest movement to protect our planet!

This year, Earth Hour is celebrating 20 years. And we want to invite you to take time out for our planet –  whether it’s 60 seconds, 60 minutes or beyond the hour – to reflect on the incredible benefits nature provides us and create a better future for people and the planet.

Do your bit by switching off as much as you can at home or work at 8.30pm (local time) on Saturday 28 March. We will be doing the same, here at the building.

As well as participating in Earth Hour, these small, everyday changes could make a big difference to our future:

  • Switch to solar power
  • Invest in a reusable coffee cup
  • Say no to single-use plastic wherever possible

Challenge 60

Join the world’s biggest movement to protect our planet – and get your body moving. From 1 March until Earth Hour on 28 March, challenge yourself to get active for 60 minutes a day and raise funds to regenerate nature. Turn your minutes of movement into years of protection for nature, people and planet. No matter how you move, you’ll be helping to protect the animals you love.
